Today’s economic situation is forcing a lot of us to go back to basics when it comes to saving our money. When I say back to basics, I mean saving money in coin banks. Is coin banks going to be a very popular item again? Are they back on demand?

Although, if we’re speaking of saving, many of these coin banks (as pictured) may set you back on cost. Loose change isn’t enough to even buy some of it. Swims is a Norwegian shoe brand that’s responsible for this yellow footwear below.

This the Ballerina, one of Swim’s latest collection of rainy day wearables. This is the kind of shoes that carries the right mix of style and function. The shoes are also great not only for bad weather but in tough terrains as well. Ballerina comes in four other colors — black, gray, pink, white. It goes with any outfit — tweeds or trench coats for instance.  For the men, Swims has the classic boots (Mobster) but it’s stylish enough for the men to not appear like a farmer or something like that.

I wonder what these bag of chips taste like. There are chips that do not contain an ounce of calories in them…so your waist doesn’t expand even if you’ve gobbled a thousand bags. Apparently, it is like “eating tasty air” and I don’t know if I find that too appealing because why would you wanna munch on air? Will you feel fool after that?

Slim Chips are actually edible PAPER. Yep, paper you can eat! And it is made from organic ingredients. Digestible? I’m not exactly sure. But I don’t doubt that this product is rich in fiber.

The hubby and I were window shopping for cardigans the another day since the colder months are already here. He settled for a basic Gap cardigan because it goes with anything he prefers wearing. Toys made out of bamboo help the environment because there wouldn’t be a need to burn the excesses. Trees that are no longer useful at producing latex are abandoned or burned before. But now, these excesses are used for plenty other things like these play things I have found at Amazon. A lot of companies are already doing their fair share of helping the environment and by using bamboo, which is a fast growing grass, these companies are able to preserve it, while creating items we need for our use.

More so, these products are made more colorful using water based paint, which isn’t harmful to the children.

My previous post has inspired me to hunt for lunch bags, and not the kind that’s suited for seven year olds. I was looking more into lunch bags yuppies and business people can carry around at the office. Packing lunch seems the practical thing to do today, as prices are rising.

So, are there lunch bags with really fancy designs online or are most lunch bags boring and generic?

One of my favorite things to do in the world is to collect earrings!
